This page sets out the terms and conditions that apply when purchasing our digital books (eBooks). The terms book and books are used in this document to refer to our digital publications only.
Terms of Sale
All KLP Publishing publications are digital eBooks, provided in PDF format. After completing a purchase, an order confirmation email will be sent to the email address supplied with the order, which contains a summary of the purchase, and the relevant links to download the book(s). If you created an account (or were logged in to your existing account) while making the purchase, the book(s) will also be available to download from the Downloads section of your profile. Due to file size considerations, it is not possible to send the books via email.
Updates to our books are published on a regular basis, and existing purchasers are granted free access to all updates for a book they have purchased, in perpetuity. Downloading an update requires either access to the download link in the original order confirmation email, or for the purchase to be available in your account. A permanent, single-user license is granted for each book purchased. This license is not transferrable, and the books are sold on a not for resale basis. Purchased books may be downloaded an unlimited number of times, and be stored on an unlimited number of devices. The books may be printed, but other forms of copying and distributing the contents are not permitted. It is strictly forbidden to provide any purchased KLP Publishing digital book to a third party without the express permission of KLP Publishing. KLP Publishing reserves the right to revoke access to purchased books for breaches of these licensing conditions.
Refunds
If a purchase is made in error, the purchaser may request a refund for a period of up to 30 days from the initial purchase, provided the book has not yet been downloaded. Once a book has been downloaded, refunds are not permissible, with the exception of an inadvertent duplicate purchase.
