Version Numbers Explained

The initial release of a title will always be published as Version 1.0 (v1.0). Minor corrections and adjustments will be given a “point update”—for example, going from v1.0 (initial release) to v1.1. Major changes and adjustments, or the addition of new content, will generally be given a “whole number update”—for example, going from v1.1 to v2.0.
