Number 8 in our Build Guide Series, Building the Special Hobby Tempest Mk V in 1/32 Scale by Chuck Sawyer is about to have its second birthday, so we’ve given it some minor tweaks to produce v1.4, and discounted it to a mere 12 Australian dollars for the next 7 days!
Building the Special Hobby Tempest Mk V in 1/32 Scale
In this 228-page eBook, Chuck Sawyer undertakes a forensic examination of the Special Hobby 1/32 scale Hawker Tempest Mk V kit, combining it with the Barracuda Studios resin nose upgrade set to produce a stunning model. I’m pleased to announce that No. 5 in our Build Guide Series, Building the Fly Arado Ar 234 in 1/32 Scale by Kent Karlsen, has now been updated to v2.0! As with our other recent book updates, this title has received a major makeover, with extensive layout changes that have yielded 8 extra pages. This expanded layout doesn’t contain any new content, but rather, improves the readability of a few sections that I felt were a little crowded.
Building the Fly Arado Ar 234 in 1/32 Scale
In this 164-page eBook, Kent Karlsen builds not one, but two examples of the Fly Arado 234 kit in 1/32 scale.
The feature build sees Kent take kit 32008, add a ton of scratch-built detail, and then construct an amazing airfield maintenance diorama, in a scene that might have occurred at ‘Fliegerhorst Grove’ air base, in post-surrender Denmark.
For his second build, Kent converts kit 32003 into the V6 four-engine prototype, complete with figures and a Sd.Kfz.2 Kettenkrad from Zoukei-Mura.

In my enthusiasm to get the v1.2 update of Building the Revell Me 262B-1/U1 Nachtjäger in 1/32 Scale out to the world, I managed to introduce some weird copy/paste errors on a few of pages. How embarrassment! I’ve fixed these now, and re-uploaded the corrected version of the book. Please note that I have not changed the version number in this instance, so it remains at v1.2. If you have downloaded the update since it was released a few hours ago, please do so again, with my humble apologies for the hassle!
